License Information

Getting your ham license is easy; you don't even need to know Morse Code to get started.

Classes for the No-Code Technician class license are offerred annually by OUARC and SCARS. Contact them for more information.

If you are already familiar with basic electronics or radio wave theory, you may be able to pass the test just by reading through a study guide. You can purchase a study guide for the Technician Class license (available at Radio Shack for under $10) or study the question pools online. You can even take practice tests via the World Wide Web. If you want to learn morse code, try Morse Academy, available from the club for DOS, or morse-qso for UNIX.
