the second Saturday of each month. Ask for John Perry at 321-0591 for

Old Business
- We have the paperwork for W5TC. The advisor (Jud Ahern KC5RI) and
the president (Seth Noble KC5OPQ) have copies available for club events.
- Efforts to find a suitable ham shack continue.
- We are still waiting for an inventory of the donated equipment in
California. Shipping it will be our biggest expenditure this year.
- A summary of the September VHF contest is available on the web page.
See
http://www.ou.edu/ouarc/History/Sept_VHF.
The logs will be posted as they are tallied.
- JP (KB5PSP) showed his pictures from Field Day.
New Business
- The Cleveland County Red Cross will be participating in a shelter
setup excercise with the Oklahoma County chapter. Norman area
hams who have volunteered to help the Red Cross should participate.
This event will include on-air coordination with the station at
the Explore the World event below.
- The Friends of the Museum of Natural History are sponsoring
"Explore the World", an outdoor fair featuring exhibits and
demonstrations of all kinds. We will set up a booth and
operate HF and VHF demonstrations on October 19th from 10am to 4pm.
Please email the club if you wish to participate.
- Seth (KC5OPQ) summarized the UOSA budget request process and asked
for suggestions. After much discussion, it was decided to let him figure
it out.
- Due to yet another home football game, it was suggested that we move
the meeting time. The only concrete alternative suggested was to have
te meeting sometime on Sunday. Mail comments and suggestions to the club.
