Summary for October 25, 1995-

• Purpose and direction of the club were discussed.
• The relationship between OUARC and SCARS was discussed.
• The following changes were made to the bylaws:
  • Associate Members may vote as members of the executive council if so elected under Article IV.
  • Associate Members may vote as members of Standing or Temporary committees if so appointed by the committee chair.
  • Associate Members may not vote at regular or election meetings.
  • Full members shall automatically be reclassified as Associate members should they cease to be affiliated with OU.
• Dues were set at $15 per year for both Full and Associate members.
• Fundraising and community service projects were discussed.
• Regular meetings will be held at noon on the first Wednesday of each month.
• No officers were elected.
• Upcomming liscence examination and exam procedures were discussed.
• Dr. Ahern offered to make Morse Code practice programs available. These will be posted under "Obtaining an Amateur Radio Liscence".
