Old Business
- Jud Ahern KC5RI reregistered our historic W5TC club call sign.
Gordon Jones W5OU, who was trustee of W5TC in the 50's and 60's has
offered to trade. The trade will take place once we have the
documentation for W5TC.
- Efforts to find a suitable ham shack continue.
- We are still waiting for an inventory of the donated equipment in
California. Shipping it will be our biggest expenditure this year.
- There was not a quorum to vote on amendments.
New Business
- Some obnoxious fool scheduled a football game to start during our
meeting.
- Mark Kleine N5HZR will look into the possibility of getting new QSL
cards as a thank you to Gordon Jones for the W5OU callsign.
- There is a VHF Contest starting this Saturday at 13:00 and running
through Sunday at 22:00. We will be operating from the roof of the
Energy Center. Contact John Patrick KC5VEI

- The Friends of the Museum of Natural History are sponsoring
"Explore the World", an outdoor fair featuring exhibits and
demonstrations of all kinds. We will set up a booth and
operate HF and VHF demonstrations on October 19th from 10am to 4pm.
Please email the club if you wish to participate.
- The Amateur Radio Class will be offered in January by Jud Ahern
KC5RI and Mark Kleine N5HZR.
- Our Howdy Week activities booth was pictured in the August 29th
Oklahoma Daily.
- John Patrick KC5VEI has been gathering instructions for building many
kinds of antennas and will be holding a workshop sometime this

- James Deaton KC5PRQ and John Patrick KC5VEI have been participating in
the weekly MORI Fox Hunts in OKC and invite others to join in.
