Mt. Scott Field Day
We need to get serious about sign-ups. In particular, we need the people to fulfill the following positions:
- Site Acquisition Coordinator
- Chief Meteorologist
- Public Relations Liason
- Volunteer Coordinator
- Food / Creature Comfort Coordinator
All you have to do to fulfill any of these positions is make a few phone calls. But we need definitive contact points to make sure things get done!
Field day is June 22. Setup begins at 09:00 and events begin at 13:00.

We are still awaiting approval from the Division Director and Section Manager.
Trip to Dallas Ham Fest
We will be leaving early on Saturday June 8 and returning that evening. If you plan to attend send email to jpbostic@uoknor.edu and, if you can drive, say how many people you can carry including yourself.
Contacting Shannon Lucid on Mir
Logistics seems to be the biggest issue and we are on hold until we can find out the status of MIR's amateur equipment and whether or not Dr. Lucid is interested.
Space Bios Web Page
Since there appear to be a lot of OU Alums involved in space and amateur radio, JP is looking into establishing a web page with biographies for each. If you have information or pictures regarding Sooners in space, email JP Bostic at jpbostic@uoknor.edu.
Severe Weather Spotter Net
Logistics are still being worked out at the National Weather Service.
By-Laws Ammendment for Family Membership,
There was not a quorum for voting on this ammendment.
Summer Meetings
There will be meetings this summer at the usual place at time.
