Meeting Minutes

- Treasurer
John KC5VEI presented a report of our assets, equipment, and
ongoing expenditures. This will be posted on the web page once
a mechanism is devised to secure it to club members only. It
was agreed that Field Day expenditures should be budgeted and
confirmed prior to other budgeting.
- Field Day
Field Day preparations were discussed at length. John passed around
a list of needed
equipment and donations, and asked for people to
sign up for items they can bring.
We will begin setting up for field day 10:00 on Saturday, June 28th.
Operations will begin at 13:00 and run for 24 hours.
Expenditures were discussed at length. It was agreed that for now
we should concentrate on budgeting consumables and items we can't
borrow. $235 in expenditures were budgeted, with some items yet
to be finalized.
- New Equipment
The donated equipment from California is here, but has yet to be
inventoried. Kate King was granted a dues waiver (and much praise)
for driving it all across the country.
- Vice-President
Jared KB5PSP summarized the clubs programs over the past year and spoke
about efforts to strengthen our ties to our distinguished alumni.
- Weather Spotting
Be sure to listen in on 147.06 during severe weather. The net
will be up, so tune in and help out. Peter N5UWY will look into
the cost of purchasing county road maps to help net controllers.
- President
Seth KC5OPQ said he's been president for two years, is tired, and please
elect someone else :)
- Officer Elections
The following officers were elected by the consent of all voting members
present and proxied:
- President: John Patrick KC5VEI
- Vice-President: Jared Bostic KB5PSP
- Secretary: Seth Noble KC5OPQ
- Treasurer: Todd Hawthorn KC5ZIL
